Apple Inc. said Monday that is has sold 1 million of its new iPad tablet computers in the month after its launch, meaning it's been selling more than twice as fast as the iPhone did when it was new.

Lately, I've spent some time checking out Samsung's first 3D LED TV, and I've found it very impressive. Not only is it one of the first 3D TVs on the market, but it also does a great job with normal HD content and provides a variety of "widgets" capable of bringing in information from the Internet.

Symantec's latest version of its Norton Internet Security suite handles unsafe Facebook links and scareware.
As protections against garden-variety viruses and malware have become more effective, malware writers have turned to new ways to infect computers in the pursuit of profit. Two increasing threats are malware spread via bad Facebook links and so-called scareware -- malware that masquerades as virus-scanning software.

Global personal computer shipments rose sharply in the first quarter, according to industry estimates released on Wednesday, as businesses finally began to spend again on technology equipment.
Industry tracker IDC said PC shipments rose 24.2 percent in the January-March period to 79.1 million units, while Gartner put growth at 27.4 percent in the quarter.
